Upgrading to Pro or a paid plan
This guide walks you through upgrading your 1smart.link account from the free tier to Pro or a full-suite Amazon seller plan. The whole process takes about two minutes and is handled securely through Stripe Checkout.
Note: You need an existing free 1smart.link account before upgrading. If you don't have one yet, sign up at
www.1smart.linkfirst. See Article #4 for a walkthrough of creating your account.
Choose your plan
1smart.link offers two broad categories of paid plan:
- Pro (Links) — For marketers and creators who need advanced bio pages, smart short links, QR codes, retargeting pixels, custom domains, and full click analytics. Priced at $119/year.
- Full-suite (Amazon seller plans) — Everything in Pro plus the Amazon Ads Optimiser (PPC v2), AI-powered insights, and smart product links. Available as Monthly ($99), Quarterly ($249), or Annual ($899).
Pick the plan that matches what you need. If you are primarily an Amazon seller, the full-suite plans give you access to the Smart Ads section and the PPC optimiser alongside all the link and bio-page tools.
Start the upgrade
- Log in to your dashboard at
www.1smart.link. - Click View Plans in the dashboard, or click the upgrade prompt that appears when you try to access a paid feature.
- You will land on the pricing page, which lists all available plans and what each includes.
- Click the call-to-action button on the plan you want (for example, Get Started or Subscribe).
Tip: If you are already logged in, clicking the plan button takes you straight to Stripe Checkout. If you are not logged in, you will be redirected to the sign-up page first, and then forwarded to checkout after you log in.
Complete payment
- On the Stripe Checkout page, enter your payment details. Stripe accepts major credit and debit cards as well as select regional payment methods.
- Your currency is automatically converted by Stripe based on your card's billing country — you do not need to do anything manually.
- Review the total and click Pay (or the equivalent confirmation button on the Stripe page).
Note: 1smart.link does not store your card details. All payment information is handled entirely by Stripe's secure infrastructure.
What happens after payment
- Once payment succeeds, you are automatically redirected to your Account page in the dashboard. You will see a success banner confirming your purchase.
- Your account is updated immediately behind the scenes: - Your plan is activated (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, or Pro, depending on what you chose). - For full-suite plans, the Smart Ads section appears in your dashboard sidebar straight away — no need to log out and back in. - All features included in your plan are unlocked and ready to use.
That's it — you are upgraded and can start using your new features right away.
Manage your billing
You can view invoices, update your payment method, or make changes to your subscription at any time.
- Go to Dashboard → Account.
- Click Manage Billing.
- This opens the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can: - Update or replace your payment card. - Download past invoices. - Cancel your subscription.
Cancel your subscription
If you decide to cancel, you can do so from the Stripe Customer Portal (see the billing steps above). When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- You keep full access to all paid features until that period expires.
- After the period ends, your account reverts to the free tier.
No partial refunds are issued automatically for unused time, but a 14-day money-back guarantee applies to first-time purchases. If you are within 14 days of your first payment, contact support to request a full refund.
Troubleshooting
Payment failed at checkout
Double-check your card details and make sure your bank has not blocked the transaction. If the problem persists, try a different card or payment method. Stripe will display a specific error message on the checkout page to help you identify the issue.
Paid features not appearing after upgrade
In rare cases, your dashboard may not refresh immediately. Try reloading the page in your browser. If paid features still do not appear, log out and log back in. If the issue continues, contact support with your payment confirmation email.
Need a refund
If this is your first purchase and you are within 14 days, reach out to the support team to request a refund under the money-back guarantee.
