What is the Website tab?

The Website tab gives you your own WordPress website, hosted and looked after by 1smart.link. You will find it in the Smart Marketing section of the dashboard sidebar, below Templates and above Automations. The page heading reads Website, with the line Your own WordPress website, hosted and managed for you.

It is a full website, not a single page. You can build pages, sell products, collect emails and run a blog, all from one place, without needing to arrange hosting or set anything up yourself.

Who gets it

Your website is included with every paid Smart Marketing plan at no extra charge. There is nothing extra to buy and nothing extra to switch on.

Each account gets one website. The terms line on the tab reads One website · 10 GB storage · included with Smart Marketing.

If you are on the Free plan, the tab shows an Unlock Your Website prompt with an Upgrade to Pro button instead. Upgrading makes the website available straight away.

Why it matters

A short link or bio page sends people somewhere. Your website is somewhere worth sending them. It is a place you own, where you control the design, the content and the checkout, and where visitors can read about you, browse your products and buy without leaving.

Because the website sits inside the same dashboard as your links, pages and automations, everything points in the same direction. You can send traffic from a smart link to a product page, or from a bio page to a sign-up form, and keep the whole journey under your own name.

The website runs WordPress, with WooCommerce already installed for the online store. You do not need to install or configure either one.

Every website gets a free address ending in .1smart.site, so your site is live and shareable from the moment it is created. If you already own a domain, you can connect it whenever you are ready.

How it works

Keeping your website online.
Backing up your website automatically, so you can restore it if something goes wrong.
Keeping plugins updated, with a backup taken first.
Securing every address on your site with a certificate, set up for you.
Installing the optional extras you choose from the Add features cards.

What you look after

You build your website. That means creating your pages, adding your products, writing your posts and choosing how everything looks. The builder is drag-and-drop, so you can move blocks around and see the result as you go.

You also decide when to connect your own domain, and which extra features you want from the Add features cards.

Note: 1smart.link does not provide mailboxes. Your website sends email, such as order confirmations and newsletters, through your own email provider. You connect that provider once and it applies across the site.

Who this is for

The Website tab suits any paying member who wants a home of their own on the web. That includes creators who want a proper site behind their bio page, sellers who want a direct-to-customer store alongside their marketplace listings, and small businesses that want one place to explain what they do and take payment for it.

It is a good fit if you want a real website without becoming your own systems administrator.

How to start

Open the Website tab and click Create my website. Your site is ready in about a minute, and you can start editing it straight away.

Once it exists, the natural next steps are connecting your own domain and setting up your email provider, both of which can wait until you have some content in place.
