Logging in to WordPress and what comes pre-installed

Your 1smart.link website comes with WordPress already set up, so you can start building straight away. This article explains how to open your WordPress admin from the Website tab, what is installed on every new website, how to use your own Elementor Pro licence, and how to change the PHP version.

Logging in to WordPress

You do not need a WordPress password. On the Website tab, click Log in to WordPress. The button shows Opening… and WordPress opens already signed in.

If the one-click login cannot open, the tab shows:

One-click login is unavailable right now — you can sign in with your WordPress username and password.

Wait a moment and try again. If it keeps happening, contact support (see Article #45).

When a new address is being secured

If you have just changed your website address, Visit site and Log in to WordPress are briefly unavailable. The tab shows the note Available as soon as your new address is secured — a few minutes. Once that is done, both buttons work as normal.

What comes pre-installed

Every new website arrives with a set of plugins already installed, so the common building blocks are ready before you write your first page. You can use as many or as few of them as you like.

WooCommerce	Your online store and payments.
Elementor	Drag-and-drop page builder (free version).
WPFunnels	Sales funnel builder (free version).
FluentSMTP	Connects your own email provider so the site can send email. See Article #73.
WP Fastest Cache	Page speed caching. Cart, checkout and account pages are not cached.
WPCode	Adds tracking pixels and code snippets to your site's header or footer without editing the theme.
Page Links To	Points a page or post at another address.
Classic Editor	The classic WordPress editor.

Notes on a few of these

WooCommerce and WPFunnels work together. WooCommerce handles products, the cart and payments. WPFunnels lets you build a guided path from a landing page through to checkout.

WP Fastest Cache speeds up your pages by serving a saved copy to visitors. Cart, checkout and account pages are deliberately left out of caching, so shoppers always see their own live basket and order details.

WPCode is the safe place for tracking code. If you need to add a retargeting pixel or an analytics snippet, paste it into WPCode rather than editing theme files. Your code then survives theme changes and updates.

Classic Editor is there if you prefer it. Some members find the classic editing screen faster for plain text pages. It sits alongside Elementor rather than replacing it.

Adding more features

Elementor Pro

Elementor Pro is not included with your website. The free version of Elementor is installed and is enough for most page layouts.

If you already own an Elementor Pro licence, you can install Elementor Pro on your website yourself and activate it with your own licence key. Nothing on the 1smart.link side needs to change first — install it the way you normally would from within WordPress, then enter your licence details.

Note: Your Elementor Pro licence is between you and Elementor. Renewals, support and licence limits are handled by them.

PHP version

The PHP version setting lives in the Site details card on the Website tab. The PHP version dropdown offers four choices:

Choose a version from the dropdown and the card shows Saving… and then Saved. No other action is needed.

Warning: Only change this if a plugin or theme asks for a particular version. Your website is already set to a version that works with everything pre-installed, so there is usually no reason to touch it.

If a plugin's documentation states a minimum PHP version, pick a version that meets or exceeds it. If something on your site stops behaving as expected after a change, switch back to the previous version using the same dropdown.

Quick summary
