Resetting your password

If you've forgotten your 1smart.link password, you can reset it in a few steps using the email address linked to your account. This guide walks you through the full reset process and explains what to do if you're already logged in and want to change your password.

Note: You need access to the email address you used when you signed up. If you no longer have access to that email, contact support for help.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. Go to the login page at www.1smart.link/login.
  2. Click the Forgot password? link below the sign-in form. This takes you to the password reset page at /forgot-password.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  4. Click Reset password (or the equivalent submit button). The platform sends a password reset email to your address.
  5. Open your email inbox and look for the reset email from 1smart.link.
  6. Click the reset link in the email. This opens a page at /reset-password where you can set a new password.
  7. Enter your new password in the form provided.
  8. Confirm and submit the new password.
  9. You are redirected to the login page. Sign in with your email and the new password you just created.

That's it — your password is updated and ready to use.

Password requirements

Your new password must meet a minimum length requirement. There is no maximum length restriction, so you're free to use a long passphrase if you prefer. Choose something memorable to you but difficult for others to guess.

Your password is securely hashed before it is stored. It is never saved in plain text and cannot be retrieved or viewed by anyone — including the 1smart.link team. If you forget it again, you'll need to go through the reset process once more.

Reset link not arriving?

If you don't see the reset email within a few minutes:

  1. Check your Spam or Junk folder.
  2. Confirm you entered the same email address you used to create your account.
  3. Try submitting the reset request again from /forgot-password.
  4. If the email still doesn't arrive, contact support — there may be a typo in the email address on your account.

Reset link expired?

For security, the reset link is only valid for a limited time. If you click the link and see an error or expiry message, simply go back to /forgot-password and request a new reset email. Each new request generates a fresh link.

Changing your password when already logged in

There is no dedicated "change password" screen inside the dashboard. If you're already logged in and want to update your password, follow these steps:

  1. Log out of your account.
  2. Go to the login page at www.1smart.link/login.
  3. Follow the Forgot password? flow described above to set a new password.

This is the simplest and most secure way to update your password.

Tips for keeping your account secure

  • Use a unique password that you don't reuse across other services.
  • Consider using a password manager to generate and store strong passwords.
  • If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, reset your password immediately using the steps above.
