What is a bio page?

A bio page — sometimes called a BioLink or link-in-bio page — is a single URL that holds a curated collection of links, widgets, and content. Instead of choosing just one link for your Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Business profile, or email signature, you share one bio page that gives visitors access to everything that matters: your shop, your latest video, your contact details, your offers, and more.

Why it matters

Most social platforms allow only one clickable link in your profile. That single link becomes valuable real estate, and you shouldn't have to choose between your website, your product page, or your latest promotion. A bio page removes that limitation entirely.

With a bio page, every visitor who taps your profile link lands on a clean, mobile-friendly page that lets them choose where to go next. This means more clicks spread across more destinations, better engagement with your audience, and a clearer picture of what your visitors care about — all from one URL you never need to change.

For Amazon sellers, a bio page can serve as a branded storefront link on packaging inserts or social profiles, directing customers to specific product listings, coupon pages, or review requests (within Amazon's guidelines). For creators and marketers, it's the hub that ties together every platform and campaign.

How it works

1smart.link's bio page editor uses a three-panel layout designed to keep things simple:

  • Widget store (left panel): Browse and add from 16 available widgets — everything from buttons and videos to shop links and contact cards.
  • Stack builder with profile card (centre panel): Drag, drop, and reorder your widgets to arrange your page exactly as you want it. Your profile card sits at the top.
  • Live phone preview (right panel): See your public page update in real time as you build, so there are no surprises when you publish.

The design

Bio pages on 1smart.link follow a premium design approach. Instead of a small circular avatar, you upload a single cover image that displays as a full-bleed hero — 600px wide on desktop, 520px on mobile. A gradient fades the image smoothly into your chosen background colour. Your name and bio text are overlaid on this gradient, giving the page a polished, professional look without any design skills required.

On desktop, visitors see a 570px centred card with a blurred backdrop of your cover image and rounded corners. On mobile, the page fills the screen edge-to-edge for a native-app feel.

16 widgets to choose from

You are not limited to simple link buttons. The full widget library includes:

  • Button — a standard clickable link
  • Text — freeform paragraphs or descriptions
  • Header — section dividers to organise your page
  • Social — icons linking to all your social profiles
  • Deep Link — open specific apps directly on visitors' devices
  • Video — embed video content inline
  • Music — share tracks or playlists
  • Shop — highlight products with images and prices
  • Coupon — display discount codes or offers
  • Link Spin — rotate through multiple destination URLs
  • Gallery — show a collection of images
  • PDF — let visitors view or download documents
  • vCard — share your contact details as a downloadable card
  • Events — promote upcoming dates or launches
  • WhatsApp — open a direct WhatsApp conversation
  • Smart Form — collect visitor information with a built-in form

  • Amazon sellers directing customers from packaging inserts or social profiles to product pages, storefronts, or promotions
